Carl Fritz Honey Creaming Machine – 50kg (Heated)
Professional German engineering for beautifully smooth, spreadable soft set honey.
Produce exceptional creamed honey with the Carl Fritz 50kg Heated Honey Creaming Machine, combining precision mechanical mixing with factory-fitted electric bottom heating and adjustable temperature control.
Designed and manufactured in Mellrichstadt, Germany, this premium stainless steel honey creamer is ideal for hobbyists with larger harvests, artisan honey producers and growing commercial beekeeping operations looking to achieve consistently smooth, fine-textured soft set honey.
The specially designed stainless steel mixing paddle gently circulates honey throughout the tank, encouraging even crystallisation without unnecessarily incorporating air.
Unlike a standard unheated honey creamer, this model also features 500W electric bottom heating with an adjustable thermostat, offering additional flexibility when preparing honey for processing and making finished creamed honey easier to bottle.
Supplied fully assembled by Carl Fritz, with the heating system professionally factory-fitted.

The Advantage of Electric Bottom Heating
A perfect combination of controlled mixing and gentle warming for beautifully smooth creamed honey.
Producing premium soft set honey involves carefully managing crystallisation, mixing and temperature.
The Carl Fritz Heated Honey Creaming Machine brings these functions together in one professional piece of equipment.
Its slow-moving mixing mechanism encourages the development and even distribution of fine honey crystals, helping create a smooth, spreadable consistency rather than a coarse or grainy texture.
The integrated electric bottom heating provides an additional advantage, particularly when preparing finished creamed honey for bottling.
Once the honey has reached the desired consistency, it can become relatively thick and difficult to dispense efficiently.
Carl Fritz recommends setting the bottom heating thermostat to approximately 40°C and allowing the machine to mix continuously for around one hour. This gently increases the honey temperature by a few degrees, improving its flow and allowing it to pass more easily through the outlet into jars.
The adjustable thermostat regulates the heating element, helping prevent uncontrolled heating and giving the operator greater flexibility throughout the production process.
Factory-Fitted and Ready to Use
The 500W bottom heating system is professionally installed by Carl Fritz in Germany before dispatch. The machine arrives as a complete heated honey creamer, with no separate heating kit to install.
How Does a Carl Fritz Honey Creaming Machine Work?
Carl Fritz honey creamers are designed to encourage the formation of fine, evenly distributed honey crystals through gentle, controlled stirring.
The specially engineered mixing screw moves honey from the bottom of the tank towards the top, promoting thorough mixing while minimising the introduction of air.
The included plug-in timer allows automatic stirring intervals to be programmed, reducing the need for constant manual intervention.
Carl Fritz's recommended creaming method:
-
Maintain the honey at approximately 12–14°C, an ideal temperature range for encouraging fine crystallisation.
-
Programme the machine to mix for approximately 15–20 minutes per cycle.
-
Repeat the mixing cycle approximately four times daily, allowing several hours of rest between cycles.
-
Continue until the honey achieves the desired smooth, fine and spreadable consistency.
-
Once creaming is complete, use the optional bottom heating function when necessary to improve flow before bottling.
Actual processing times will depend on the honey variety, moisture content, existing crystal structure and ambient temperature.
More Than Just a Honey Creamer
In addition to producing soft set honey, the Carl Fritz mixing machine can be used to gently blend different batches or varieties of honey.
The controlled mixing action helps achieve a more uniform colour and consistency, making it a versatile addition to a honey processing facility.
