Bientec Beehive Frame Wire Tensioning Pliers

Quickly tighten loose or sagging wire in wooden beehive frames with the Bientec frame wire tensioning pliers.

The serrated wheels crimp the wire as the tool is run along it, slightly shortening its effective length and restoring tension. This helps prepare wired frames for embedding fresh wax foundation without removing and replacing the existing wire.

An adjustable set screw controls the pressure applied to the wire, while the spring-loaded handles reopen automatically for faster, easier use. The shaped hand grips provide good control when preparing multiple frames.

How to use

Place the frame wire between the serrated wheels, adjust the set screw to provide the required pressure, squeeze the handles and carefully run the tool along the wire. The resulting crimps tighten the wire across the frame.
