Wood Stain and Protect Cornflower is a waterproof wood stain that can be applied to planed and sawn timber or polystyrene beehive and will brighten any apiary. This wood stain is easily applied by brush, roller or any garden sprayer. It creates a long lasting waterproof coating that is fungal resistant.

The superior formulation of this product allows it to be applied to polystyrene beehives too.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover 8-12m² per coat
Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Stain + Protect is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. Paint the exterior of the beehive only.
Quite thin but dries quickly and 2 coats is fine. Great for my beehive.
Have been looking for an appropriate paint/ stain for the hive for ages and this ticked the box.
Took two coats and colour is lovely with no odour. Will see how it lasts over the winter.
