British Runny Wildflower Honey Unpasteurised, 1kg Jar

This is a delicious, delightful, delicate mild, pale and sweet British wildflower honey.

This beautiful, delicate British honey is made up from a mixture of delicious British wildflowers where the bees have been foraging in hedgerows tangled with brambles alongside clover pastures in the beautiful British countryside.

This pale and delicate honey is a great substitute for sugar in hot drinks, smoothies and baking. It’s also a delight to spread on toast.

Our honey is always unpasteurised and minimally filtered, therefore retaining it’s natural properties. Pollen grains may therefore be evident in the honey.

The nectar in this jar comes from a range of British wildflowers with bramble and clover being the most dominant within the honey followed with other common British wildflowers.

The honey is delivered in a runny consistency but will naturally set and crystallise overtime. This is a natural process , and will lead to a change in colour, making it paler, thick with a slight grainy texture with a delightful delicate flavour. This process is unpredictable and absolutely normal in unprocessed honey. Should you wish to reinstate the honey to its original, liquid form, simply put the jar on a radiator overnight to gently heat.

Country of origin: England, United Kingdom

Source: Honey produced by British bee-famers in the UK

British Wildflower Honey

I've been buying the Welsh wildflower honey for a couple of years now, so I thought I'd give the British honey a try for a change. It arrived beautifully packaged & not too runny either. We've had a taste test at home to compare both the Welsh and British honey. Personally, although the Britiish honey is very nice, we prefer the Welsh Wildflower honey. The British honey to us tastes sweeter, whereas the Welsh honey has more of a caramel flavour, more depth. One thing for sure, both of them surpass any honey that is sold in a supermarket.
