A creamy, light, set honey produced by the bees foraging in early Spring. Nectar sources include in the main rapeseed but will have traces of hawthorn, apple, cherry blossom, dandelions and other early Spring forage available to the bees.

Rapeseed is an oil-producing plant with vibrant yellow flowers grown by farmers up and down the country and the bees absolutely love the yellow nectar rich flowers. This honey is also known as oilseed honey, canola honey or rapeseed honey.
Rapeseed Honey crystallises (sets) quickly, within weeks of hive extraction. This is due to the high glucose concentration within the honey. As well as the crystallisation, it is common to notice frosting of the honey. Both frosting and crystallisation are natural features of honey, and they don't impact the taste or the quality. Rapeseed honey has many different health properties as it contains Vitamin E and A which are beneficial for skin health.

I am a fan of set honey because of the consistency/texture and I really like this type of honey on bread, pancakes, waffles or with cream. The quality of this is great. It's creamy, smooth and the sweetness is perfect. Smells great too. Totally recommend.
I wasn't too sure about ordering this but as I only like set honey, thought I would give it a try. Fields of rapeseed don't delight me but this was a revelation. I absolutely love it and will definitely order it again (very soon). it's gentle and aromatic and I really look forward to my breakfast of sourdough bread, salted butter and this honey.
