Vented Swienty Breeze Protector Suit

Our Breeze Protector Suit is a ventilated lightweight suit, that is designed to be more comfortable in warm weather, but still have a high durability.

The suit is made up of three layers: Two layers of ventilated fabric and one thick layer of ventilated mesh, so the bees sting can’t reach the body. The suit is made to last many years, and as always, we have focused 100 % on quality, comfort, safety and sustainability.

New hat design

The unique hat design with an extra strong veil gives you the best protection of the face, without the hat sliding back and forth on the head. This is achieved by the innovative shape, that makes the hat rest on the shoulders instead of hanging on the head.

The flame-resistant veil is very stiff, which creates a good space around the ears, and gives a better view. The hat can of course be folded back or taken off completely.

Professionally tested

Here at Swienty, our main focus is quality and having products that are the best for you and the nature.

Besides being CE-Certified in category 2, meaning that this clothing is officially approved for working with bees, the suits have been professionally tested by an accredited 3rd party test lab.

Our Breeze clothing contains no polluting materials like cadmium, lead, mercury or chromium, or any types of endocrine disruptors, such as e.g. flame-retardant bromides or softening phthalates.

This means that our Breeze clothing is safe for you, your bees and the nature.

Squinty Breeze

My previous suit waa a standard Swienty purchased about 10 years ago and it has served me very well, but is a little tired after heavy use. I have been surprised by how well the mesh fabric of the Breeze performs with lively colonies. They can’t sting into the mesh into (unlike normal cotton fabric), so there are no sting scents circulating and the other guard bees are not attracted. It makes inspections much more relaxed! The Thomas gloves seem good, but the fingers are too long, so I am awaiting a replacement pair.

Fantastic Quality

I am so impressed with the quality of this suit, I had bought a suit from elsewhere that was very tight for me so gave that to my wife. This Swienty was double the price but well worth it. The finish of the stitching zips and vail are so well made. Being short and fat 5’6” and XL the body and arms are just perfect however the leg length is approx. 18 cm too long so had to gather it up. I will get a seamstress to shorten the length well worth the bother I feel. The gather makes it a bit hot on the legs and potential for the bee to hind in the crevis. I have the same problem with all clothing so not going the mark this great product down for the size. Not sure if there is a talor made version, would be a good idea.

Helpful, replied to email queries promptly even though a busy time year. Visited shop next day to try on for sizes as was not 100% sure from size guide. Turns out would was correct sizes I would have ordered from size chart. Staff very helpful. Looks like a great family business. Would completely recomend

My first bee suit.

The supplier fulfilled the order as promised on the site. On such an expensive purchase, I would have liked to get some advice on the sizing (I didn't get a reply before the suit turned up) but it turned out okay for me (size large for me at 6' and average build) .
For the suit itself, it is indeed defensive bee proof so far. I'm not crazy about the veil design as the bees seem attracted to it right infront of your face (perhaps because the bucket shape makes it close to your face) meaning you have a scrolling bee obstruction to see past. It's also close to your ears and it takes a bit of getting used to having that buzzing close to you without thinking one got in. You will need to get a baseball cap to avoid the veil touching your skin in certain positions like crouching and looking forward. However, after using a cheaper jacket and veil for three years, I'm wondering how I did without a suit. So if you are serious, this is a pretty expensive but worthwhile investment. The suit is well made, has good practical pockets and is reasonably cool to wear. The sleeves have thick velcro cuffs that cover my wrists under standard gloves and so far I haven't been stung at all wearing it. I would recommend both company and product. Time will tell if the material compresses to less that bee sting thickness. I hope not!

Swienty Bee Suit

Great service kept informed of order process and delivery. The suit itself felt heavy compared to my traditional suit. But once on it did not feel so heavy and the ventilation kept me nice and cool when working the hives.
