The Quarti Italy S04 Solar Wax Melter is a professional-grade, large-capacity wax extractor designed for hobbyist and semi-commercial beekeepers who want to make the most of every harvest.

Simply load your old comb, wax cappings, or brood comb offcuts into the tray, angle the unit towards the sun, and let solar heat do the work.

The double-glazed lid creates a greenhouse effect that rapidly melts the wax, which then passes through the built-in stainless steel filter before collecting in the removable pan below — clean, filtered, and ready to use.

Because there is no direct heat source, this is widely regarded as the gentlest method of processing beeswax.

Lower temperatures mean less discolouration, and prolonged UV exposure through the glass provides natural solar bleaching — producing lighter, higher-quality rendered wax than electric or steam methods.
