Plastic entrance reducers

Handy entrance reducer that is easy to open and close.
Length 445 mm, which can be reduced down to 370 mm.

To fit onto most hives. You will need drawing pins or screw  to put in place. Snap the end pieces off from the large runner. Screw the 2 end pieces on either side of the entrance on the floor. The runner / entrance reducer can then slide in and out as you require.

Works really well.

I bought this for my Paradise Bee Box as, after moving house, I couldn't find the entrance reducer. I know I had it but I've obviously put it somewhere safe! I wasn't sure it would fit but I was able to use a hacksaw to trim the ends to make it fit. Because of the way the entrance and floor are on the Bee Box, I could only secure the top part with one screw. But it seems to hold well. To be honest, I could never get the entrance reducer that came with the Bee Box to fit properly and this seems a lot easier to fit. I bought one for my wooden national hive too but I haven't tried to fit it yet as those bees are very, very feisty. I'm going to pick my moment!
