What Is a Rhombus Bee Escape?

A rhombus bee escape is fitted to a crown board (clearer board) and placed between the brood box and honey supers.

The rhombus-shaped channels allow bees to move downwards into the brood box but prevent them from returning to the super. This naturally clears the honey supers ready for removal.

This method is one of the most efficient and low-stress ways to prepare for honey extraction.
