The Swienty Extra Fine Conical Honey Strainer is a large professional-quality 200 micron nylon cone filter designed for fine filtration of extracted honey.

With a generous 45cm diameter and approximately 60cm length, the pointed conical design provides a considerably larger filtering surface than conventional flat strainers.

Extra Fine 200 Micron Honey Filtration

This is Swienty's XX Fine / Extra Fine 200 micron version.

The fine nylon mesh helps remove small particles of wax and other debris remaining in extracted honey, making it ideal as the fine filtration stage before honey is transferred into a settling or storage tank.

For beekeepers searching for a particularly fine honey filter, cone filter or nylon strainer, the 200 micron mesh provides considerably finer filtration than Swienty's alternative 350 and 1000 micron versions.

Clever Anti-Clog Pull-Cord Design

One of the most useful features of the Swienty conical strainer is the integrated pull cord at the pointed bottom of the filter.

As honey is filtered, particles of wax and debris can gradually accumulate on the nylon mesh and begin to restrict the flow.

Rather than having to remove and clean the entire filter, the cord can be pulled upwards. This draws accumulated material down towards the narrow point of the cone, helping clear the large filtering surface around the sides.

The cord ring can then be positioned beneath one of the feet of a suitable filter stand to hold the cone in this raised position.

Debris remains concentrated towards the bottom of the cone while honey can continue to pass through the clearer mesh around the sides.

It's a remarkably simple design that helps maintain honey flow during larger filtering jobs.

Large 45cm Conical Filter

At 45cm in diameter and approximately 60cm long, this is a substantial honey strainer.

The large conical shape provides an extensive filtration surface, helping honey pass through the filter efficiently while giving wax particles and debris plenty of space to collect.

Swienty specifies that the strainer can be used with containers from approximately 32cm to 90cm in diameter. It can also be positioned on smaller containers, although stability will be reduced.

For the best support, we recommend using a suitable dedicated conical filter stand.

Compatible with CFM Carl Fritz Filtering Equipment

It is an excellent replacement or additional extra-fine filter for compatible CFM honey filtration equipment, including larger Carl Fritz filtering systems designed around the 45cm conical strainer.

Please note: this is the larger 45cm diameter cone filter. It does not fit our wooden filter stands designed for the smaller 35cm conical strainers.
