The InstantVap units are to be used with oxalic acid dihydrate of 97%-100% purity. Be aware that some oxalic acid products contain additives like glucose and silica that are unsuitable for use in this device.

Sublimation of Oxalic acid

Bought the lite version of the instant vap recently. Great product , well made and simple to use ; a 2gram dose gives a thorough spread within the hive and the dose is completed within a minute. Practical and efficient and so easy to use and clean. Would have given 5 stars but it didn’t support my battery type I use with other tools so had to buy another battery and charger, very inconvenient.

Excellent piece of kit, just what I needed for my small hobbiest apiary. I have 6 hives, looking to grow to 12 next year and this InstantVap is small enough to do my 6 hives without blinking and big enough to grow with me. Makes all my treatments a doddle to do with no mess and even less hassle. Highly recommended.
