The InstantVap units are to be used with oxalic acid dihydrate of 97%-100% purity. Be aware that some oxalic acid products contain additives like glucose and silica that are unsuitable for use in this device.

It’s very important that you follow the safely information on your InstantVap Vaporizer. You must wear the correct PPE to keep you safe.

Oxalic Acid Vaporization is an organic, safe and effective method of treating Varroa mites. But the correct PPE is crucial.

1 x InstantVap 18v Original vapouriser unit, pre-fitted with your chosen battery socket
1 x Oxalic Acid Dispenser
1 x Cleaning Cap
2 x spare O-rings for the dispenser
1 x Instruction Manual

Batteries and/or battery chargers are NOT included (the batteries shown in the product photos are for illustration purposes only)

Clean the unit at least after every 20 treatments.

Put on your safety gear, including your gloves, mask and safety glasses. Make sure the unit is not clogged. Heat up the unit in case it is cooled. Remove battery and the Oxalic Acid dispenser from unit. Fill the silicone cleaning cap with water. Turn the heated unit upside down and push the cap on the dispenser’s tube. Hold the cleaning cap firmly on top of the dispenser tube, point the outlet tube away from you and turn the unit back.

Repeat until the unit does not generate any more steam.

WARNING! High pressure and hot steam!

Rinse the cooled unit by adding a full cap of water through the dispenser’s tube, shaking it and draining it through the dispenser’s tube. Repeat until the drained water is clear. Heat the unit to dry up any water remaining in the unit. Let it cool.

Clean the outside of the unit by wiping it with a damp cloth. The dispenser is to be washed in water.

Add a drop of mineral oil or grease to the O-ring (D) to increase lifespan and ease of use. Store the unit in dry and clean state.

This is amazing piece of kit it makes my treatment’s a lot easier and I love the fact that it’s battery powered it means I no longer have to lug around big heavy generators. It heats up quickly and is quite easy to get to grips with and makes the job much quicker it is a bit expensive but it is a worthwhile investment would 100% recommend to anybody thinking about getting one as it’s a game changer
