Clean the unit at least after every 20 treatments.

Put on your safety gear, including your gloves, mask and safety glasses. Make sure the unit is not clogged. Heat up the unit in case it is cooled. Remove battery and the Oxalic Acid dispenser from unit. Fill the silicone cleaning cap with water. Turn the heated unit upside down and push the cap on the dispenser’s tube. Hold the cleaning cap firmly on top of the dispenser tube, point the outlet tube away from you and turn the unit back.

Repeat until the unit does not generate any more steam.

WARNING! High pressure and hot steam!

Rinse the cooled unit by adding a full cap of water through the dispenser’s tube, shaking it and draining it through the dispenser’s tube. Repeat until the drained water is clear. Heat the unit to dry up any water remaining in the unit. Let it cool.

Clean the outside of the unit by wiping it with a damp cloth. The dispenser is to be washed in water.

Add a drop of mineral oil or grease to the O-ring (D) to increase lifespan and ease of use. Store the unit in dry and clean state.

Instavap 18v Turbo

Amazing bit of kit. In the past I’ve used car battery powered an gas powered vaporisers but this blows them away for speed and efficiency. The work that has been done to analyse the optimum temperatures for sublimation have paid off. The quality of the build and the ease of charging the dispenser is superb. It takes a couple of minutes to bring up to temperature but after that it vaporises in about 10-15 secs and then it’s very quickly ready for the next one. It’s important get all your hives prepared/ sealed up ready for vaporising then it’s just a case of going down the line one after the next. Always ensure that you wear appropriate PPE as these push out a lot of vapour, far more than other products I’ve used in the past.

Was initially a little concerned re the battery use when comparing with the compact but I’m using 4ah batteries and it’s working just fine

Over all Brilliant

Love the Instant Vap Turbo, very quick & easy to use. It will wipe out your batteries very quickly so i will be investing in bigger ones for next year. Cant fault the machine at all. Only feedback i would give is a better description on the accessories available. I couldn't figure out what they were for or how long they would last but now that i have used the instant vap i would definitely have bought them. Maybe make a video demonstrating this for people & if in doubt buy some, especially if you have poly hives!

Turbo vap

Excellent applicator ,super quick to use and makes the job so easy to do. Using dewalt batteries and still experimenting the optimum amp hr batteries to use. That is probably the only issue that the vap is quite heavy on batteries and you need several or a mobile recharge facility for prolonged usage.However a vast improvement on my previous oxalic applicators.

Varroa Destruction

Researched this piece of kit before buying it. Although top end it’s a quality bit of kit which I will use year on year for my oxalic treatment.
