Heated Honey Sump by Thomas Apiculture

This tank will allow you to pre-filter the honey at the time of extraction. The honey flows from the extractor into the first airlock of the settling tank. It then passes underneath and under a series of baffles that retain most of the impurities on the surface of the honey.

The central point of the extraction station, the settling tank accelerates the process of separating impurities from the extracted honey. The heat released at the bottom of the tank allows for the rapid rise of micro-impurities and air bubbles, which are retained by successive baffles.
