Apifonda bee fondant contains exceptionally pure, micro-fine crystals, covered with a syrup film. Thanks to its rapid absorption, this bee feed allows the bees to supply themselves with nutrients.

This sugar paste is ideal winter feed for bees or feed between honey flows. It can also be used for the formation of new bee colonies and nucs.

Directions for use: This is a ready-made sugar paste with no additional preparation required. Place a small cut in the plastic bag and place it directly over the crown board.

Composition: Südzucker’s APIFONDA is a sugar paste that mainly consists of granulated sugar (saccharose). This sugar is extracted from sugar beet. It contains microscopic crystals with a diameter of less than one hundredth of a millimetre. Each crystal is covered with a thin film of dissolved sugar syrup. This prevents the crystals from clumping together and creating a crust. The product can therefore be easily removed and directly ingested.

This bee feed is produced by Südzucker, an expert producer of ready-made sugar paste appropriate for bees. API bee feed products have been produced from beet sugar and are close to the natural food of these important pollinators.
