5 Frame Buckfast Nuc – National Nucleus Colony – 2026 Queen
Our Buckfast bee nucs for sale will be ready for collection or delivery from mid-May 2026 onwards, weather permitting.
These 5 frame National Buckfast nucleus colonies are produced in our own apiaries at Gwenyn Gruffydd Honey Farm in West Wales and headed by a 2026 EU origin marked Buckfast Queen.
Our nucs are the same colonies we use in our own honey production hives, carefully selected for temperament, productivity and suitability for the UK climate.
Pre-orders are now open for May, June and July delivery or collection.
What You Will Receive
Each nuc is supplied in a new timber transport box and contains:
• 5 frames of bees on DN4 National frames

• Minimum 3 frames of brood in all stages (eggs, larvae and sealed brood)
• Remaining frames containing brood, honey stores and pollen
