Manufactured from high-quality double-walled stainless steel, this clarifying tank is designed for safe, controlled melting, purification, and sterilisation of beeswax. The double-wall construction uses a heat transfer medium to ensure even, gentle heating of wax, preventing scorching while allowing precise temperature control. A powerful 3 kW immersion heater with thermostatic adjustment provides dependable performance for everything from candle wax clarification to full wax sterilisation.
Two stainless steel ball valves allow clean separation of clarified wax and settled residues, making the process efficient, repeatable, and hygienic.

Recommended Operating Temperatures
- 70–90 °C – Wax melting and candle wax purification
- 130 °C – Wax sterilisation (effective against foulbrood and nosema spores)
- Maintain 130 °C for at least 45 minutes for full disinfection
