Premium quality embossed French beeswax foundation sheets designed specifically for European-style pre-assembled and pre-wired British National Deep brood frames.
⚠️ Please Note: These foundation sheets are NOT suitable for traditional British flat-pack National frames with grooved side bars (for example, DN4 frames).
These sheets are intentionally manufactured a few millimetres shorter along the sides and bottom edge because they are designed to be electrically embedded directly onto frame wire, rather than fed into grooves in the side bars.
They are ideal for European-style assembled and pre-wired National brood frames commonly used by commercial and progressive beekeepers, such as the Thomas Apiculture Pre-Wired National Deep Brood Frames.

Important Frame Compatibility Information
These foundation sheets are designed ONLY for:
✅ European-style pre-assembled and pre-wired National brood frames
✅ Frames designed for embedding foundation directly onto horizontal or vertical wire
These foundation sheets are NOT suitable for:
❌ Traditional British flat-pack National frames
❌ Grooved top bars and side bars where foundation slides into the grooves
Because the sheets are purposely manufactured slightly shorter, they will not fit correctly in standard grooved frame setups.

Important Handling Information
Due to the natural cast manufacturing process, this wax foundation is more brittle than standard laminated foundation and should be handled carefully.
For best results:
- Store at room temperature (20–25°C) before use
- Allow wax to warm gently before embedding
- Handle carefully during frame assembly
- Store dry and away from frost or direct sunlight
A natural whitening or bloom may appear over time — this is completely normal with pure natural beeswax.
