6 Frame Buckfast Bees Nuc (Imported queen EU origin) 2024 new season nuc
Pre-order for delivery during May, June and July. These nucs are made up early in the Season and we will begin distributing the nucs from the second week of May onwards - weather permitting.
The nucs are provided on British Standard National Frames with broods of all stages and bees.

Delivery - £30 per nuc via Royal Mail Special Delivery

The bees:
The colony is headed up with this year's queen - a 2024 Buckfast Queen. They are good to handle, gentle, quiet bees, and suitable for beginners and the experienced beekeeper. All our bees will be fully inspected by us before they leave the farm.
We have achieved our accreditation to the DASH scheme; Disease Accreditation Scheme for Honeybees, this is a an accreditation set up between the NBU (National Bee Unit, APHA (Animal and Plant Advisory Unit)) and the BFA (Bee Farmers Association).
The Nuc:
Provided on British Standard National frames with brood at all stages and bees over 6 frames and supplied in a travelling box.

Delivery Cost to UK Mainland Address is - £30** per Nuc (Delivery before 1pm*)
We will do our very best to adhere to the provisional dates offered however as we have no control over the weather the dispatch might have to be put back a week. We will keep you updated.
Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email of your order and payment. Our first point of contact will be via email so please be sure to enter a valid email address so we can invite you to book into our delivery dispatch system. We will contact you to make arrangements when we know your bees are ready.
*Certain postcodes are excluded from the 1pm guarantees. Prices quoted are for UK only - we do not post overseas or to Ireland.

This is my 1st year beekeeping.
I purchased 2 Buckfast Nucs along with hives etc from Angharad and Gruff after attending one of their beginners courses (which was fantastic).
These bees are so calm that I hardly ever have to smoke them, and because they are so easy to handle my 10 year old daughter loves helping with the inspections and is confident when handling them.
Angharad and Gruff are always happy to help whether it be advice on what to purchase or answering any questions I may have.
This is a fantastic family run business and I could not recommend them enough.

I collected my Buckfast Bee Nuc on the 16 th June. The bees coped well with a 40 minute journey. I was nervous transferring them to their new hive but appreciated the advice on collection as well as watching their helpful videos. The bees are very calm and learning so much. Thankyou!
Excellent friendly and professional service. Bees settled in very well and rapidly drawing out new comb. I will certainly be using again for my beekeeping supplies.
