Dead easy setup online / app account, scan the chip record your info as u go. when finished use online app to update each hive details. App currently only in Beta version. I only bought 4 as thats all the hives I have, can see this being a great asset when app updated for beeks with lots of hives.

Took a hunch that these would help me keep track easier , well as soon as i started to use the phone app & the web app together yes they do make my beekeeping more enjoyable because a hives history is so easy to find & update . For those who also want a hard copy a print is easy . Simple record keeping is now available for anyone . Also an added plus is the chip is another form of security .

Yes i agree with other reviewers added functions would be better especially adding free notes , but as it is still a recommended product for me that with the free phone & web app a good buy . Five stars because i am sure it will be updated to suit just about any needs a beekeeper large or small could want .

This has a promising future. The app needs to have a few more features to support the record keeping such as varoa treatment batch number (a legal requirement in the uk) and a free text field for additional information. The fact you can record as you inspect is a real bonus. If development of the app continues then I would definitely recommend it.

I bought ten to give these a try and am not dissapointed, I like the fact that you can scan, verbally record the inspection, then fill out the log later. With more app features coming in the New Year, looks like I'll be buying more of these.
