The Cedar Wood Stain and Protect forms a long lasting waterproof coating that won't need re-treating for years. This wood stain is plant and pet friendly and works well at protecting your timber from the weather and mould.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover 8-12m² per coat
Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Stain + Protect is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. Paint the exterior of the beehive only.
This is a really good hive paint, covers really well, even restores older hives so they look like new again and the price is excellent from Gwenyn Gruffydd Ltd.
The tin of protective wood stain arrived very promptly and was easy to apply. Bit surprised that it looked purple when initially applied but fortunately it dried the correct colour.

This is a really lovely paint and has completely transformed my hives. I've acquired some old weathered hives that now look brand new and a couple of newer cedar hives which also look great, especially with oiled entrance blocks. I was a bit unsure when i opened the tin to see a lavender colour which did dry the nice deep red it was supposed to. I'll be back for more as i have hive stands and a shed to paint.
