Bristol Blue is a primary blue looking like the brightest sparkles on an azure blue sea. It creates an effect of confident harmony and would look perfect on a beehive.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover 8-12m² per coat
Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Stain + Protect is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. Paint the exterior of the beehive only.
I have blue and yellow poly hives from Abelo - have used their yellow Lyson paint for refreshing the tops of my 3 hives (currently £21 for 1 litre). After 4-5 seasons, and a couple of colony collapses over last winter, time to paint the blue brood boxes and yellow bases. At £20 per 2.5 litres, it's a steal (Thorne have it @ £20 for 1 litre!) I bought Brostol Blue and Primrose Yellow - carriage was £8-99 to the Highlands of Scotland - which still makes it cheaper than even getting direct from the Protek website.
Any way - enough about price - but being in the Highlands, it is always my primary concern.
Goods arrived quickly & were well packed. The Bristol Blue is spot on - made the brood boxes look like new.
Although these tins will last me a while - please don't put the price up ;-)
