A lightweight bee brush designed for gently removing bees from frames and combs during hive inspections or honey harvesting.

This economy bee brush features soft horsehair bristles and a plastic handle, allowing bees to be moved carefully without damaging comb or injuring the bees.

Bee brushes are useful for removing small numbers of bees from frames when necessary, for example during inspections or when transferring frames.

The soft natural bristles help move bees without crushing them.

Important Usage Advice

This brush is best used occasionally for removing small numbers of straggler bees from a comb.

We do not recommend using a bee brush to clear large numbers of bees from supers or frames, as excessive brushing can agitate the colony.

Many beekeepers prefer to use bee escapes, shaking or gentle tapping to remove the majority of bees before brushing the remaining few.
