 Galvanised Metal Hive Stand 

This galvanised (zinc-plated)  steel hive stand protects your colony from the cold and raising damp and keeps it off the floor.

Will fit most wooden and some poly hives (please refer to diagram and dimensions provided). Pictured with a National Hive (not included)


It is best to raise your hives to prevent moisture from entering, especially in cold and humid regions. A wet damp hive can kill your bees. Also if your hive is constantly damp it will rot much quicker.

Another key benefit of a hive stand is it saves your back so you don't need to be crouched over when your inspecting 

This hive stand is especially good for reducing the chance of mice entering your hive over the winter. The steel bars are very hard for mice to climb up.

Hive stands can be stacked together when not in use.
