Professional 350 micron fine conical honey strainer from Swienty, Denmark. This large 45cm diameter × 60cm long nylon cone filter provides efficient honey filtration with a clever pull-cord design to help prevent the filter becoming blocked during use.

The Swienty Fine Conical Honey Strainer is a large professional-quality 350 micron nylon cone filter, designed for filtering freshly extracted honey before settling, storage or bottling.

With a generous 45cm diameter and 60cm length, the pointed conical design provides a much larger filtering surface than conventional flat strainers.

The 350 micron fine mesh provides an excellent balance between effective filtration and honey flow, removing wax particles and other debris from freshly extracted honey while allowing it to pass efficiently through the filter.

Manufactured by Swienty in Denmark, this is a simple but highly effective filtration system for beekeepers processing larger quantities of honey.

Fine 350 Micron Honey Filtration

This is Swienty's Fine 350 micron version.

The nylon mesh is designed to remove wax particles and other debris remaining after extraction, helping prepare honey for settling, further processing or bottling.

At 350 micron, this version provides a slightly more open mesh than our 200 micron XX Fine / Extra Fine Conical Strainer.

This makes the 350 micron filter an excellent general-purpose choice where you want good filtration combined with efficient honey flow.

For customers wanting an even finer final filtration, we also stock the 200 micron Extra Fine version in the same 45cm × 60cm size.

Clever Anti-Clog Pull-Cord Design

One of the most useful features of the Swienty conical honey strainer is the integrated pull cord at the pointed bottom of the filter.

As honey passes through the strainer, wax particles and debris gradually collect against the nylon mesh and can begin to restrict the flow.

When this happens, simply pull the cord upwards.

This draws the accumulated material down towards the narrow point of the cone, clearing more of the large filtering surface around the sides.

The cord ring can then be positioned beneath one of the feet of a suitable filter stand, holding the debris towards the bottom of the cone while allowing honey to continue flowing freely through the clearer mesh around the sides.

It's a remarkably simple system that helps reduce filter clogging during larger honey processing jobs.

Large 45cm Conical Filtering Surface

At 45cm diameter and 60cm long, this is a substantial honey filter.

The large cone shape creates an extensive filtration area, helping maintain honey flow while providing plenty of space for wax particles and debris to accumulate.

Swienty states that the strainer is suitable for use with containers approximately 32–90cm in diameter.

It can also be positioned on smaller containers, although stability will be reduced.

For the most secure setup, we recommend using a suitable dedicated conical filter stand.

350 Micron or 200 Micron – Which Should I Choose?

We stock this large Swienty conical strainer in two filtration grades:

350 Micron – Fine
An excellent general-purpose honey strainer, providing effective removal of wax particles and debris while maintaining good honey flow.

200 Micron – XX Fine / Extra Fine
A finer filtration option for customers wanting to remove smaller particles from their honey.

Both versions have the same 45cm diameter × 60cm conical design and incorporate Swienty's anti-clog pull-cord system.

Some professional honey processing setups may also use different filtration grades sequentially, with the finer filter providing the final filtration stage.
