Premium Carl Fritz honey uncapping tray and table system for one person, combining a food-grade cappings container, stainless steel draining tray and dedicated frame supports in one compact honey harvesting station.

The CFM Carl Fritz “The Original” Uncapping Set is a robust, professional-quality solution for uncapping honey frames before extraction.

Designed by Carl Fritz, one of Germany's longest-established manufacturers of specialist beekeeping and honey processing equipment, the system provides a dedicated working area for uncapping frames while collecting the valuable honey and beeswax cappings underneath.

With the exception of the food-grade plastic outer container, all components are manufactured from stainless steel, providing a durable, hygienic and easy-to-clean system suitable for repeated honey harvests.

Everything You Need for Cleaner, Easier Uncapping

During uncapping, wax cappings and honey fall into the stainless steel inner container below your working area.

The inner container incorporates a perforated stainless steel sieve base, allowing honey to drain away from the wax cappings rather than leaving everything mixed together in the bottom of a conventional tray.

This helps keep the uncapping process considerably tidier while allowing you to recover more of the honey contained within freshly removed cappings.

Integrated Storage for Up to 13 Honey Frames

One particularly clever feature of the CFM Original is its multi-purpose lid.

During use, the lid becomes a storage area capable of holding up to 13 honey frames, giving you somewhere convenient to place frames while working through your honey harvest.

This creates a compact uncapping station without requiring a large dedicated uncapping bench.

Compact, Space-Saving Design

Once the honey harvest is finished, the complete system can be dismantled into its individual components.

The stainless steel components then store neatly inside the food-grade plastic container, creating a compact and clean package for storage until your next extraction.

This makes the CFM Original particularly useful for beekeepers who want professional-quality honey processing equipment but don't have the space for a permanent full-size uncapping table.

What's Included?

The complete CFM Carl Fritz 1-Person Uncapping Set includes:

  • 1 × White food-grade plastic container
  • 1 × Stainless steel inner container with perforated sieve base
  • 1 × Lid which doubles as a frame storage area
  • 1 pair × Stainless steel storage brackets
  • 1 pair × Stainless steel support bars

Everything required to create the basic one-person uncapping station is supplied together as one complete set.

Upgradeable for Two-Person Uncapping

A particularly useful feature of the Carl Fritz system is that it can grow with your honey processing requirements.

The 1-person Original Uncapping Set can be converted for two-person use by replacing the frame supports with the appropriate Carl Fritz two-person support brackets (available separately)

This makes it a useful long-term investment for beekeepers whose apiary and honey harvest may increase over time.

Premium CFM Honey Processing Equipment

Carl Fritz has been manufacturing specialist beekeeping equipment in Mellrichstadt, Germany for generations, developing a reputation for exceptionally robust stainless steel honey processing equipment.

“The Original” follows the same philosophy: simple, extremely practical and designed to last.

For beekeepers wanting something more substantial and professional than a basic plastic uncapping tray, but without the size and expense of a permanent commercial uncapping bench, this is an excellent middle ground.

Use it alongside your uncapping knife or uncapping fork and honey extractor to create an efficient honey harvesting setup for processing frames from uncapping through to extraction.
