Reversible Wooden Langstroth Solid Floor
The base tray of our Tradition range, which acts as insulation, forms the foundation of the beehive. This product, made entirely of wood, protects the hive from moisture and prevents insects and pests from entering the hive.
The base plate consists of 2 sides:
- One for winter that reduces the height of your beehive opening and therefore the entry of cold air.
- One for the summer which enlarges it and lets in the freshness, the wind.
The background board is sold in the Langstroth 10-frame format.
Instructions for use:
The base tray is the foundation of the hive. You can also use an entrance door to reduce or close the entrance.
Precautions for use:
For your safety, wear appropriate protective clothing.
Maintenance:
The wooden base requires no special maintenance. It can be disinfected with a burner.
The sliding closing plate is not supplied with the base tray.
