Beehive paint - bee friendly paint made in UK.

Soft, pretty purple with a soft blue hue. A traditional colour that is found in many a planting scheme from French lavender to lilacs and lupins of traditional country gardens

This paint are low VOC and are mad in Somerset and most importantly are bee friendly. The Royal Exterior superior wood finish is suitable for both wooden beehives and polystyrene hives.

Remember to only paint the outside (exterior) of the beehive.

The paint is also great for window and door frames, skirting boards and kitchen units.

Low maintenance weatherproof coating that contains UV filters to protect colours from fading. Safe and easy to use with virtually no odour and free of solvents. Requires two to three thin coats and is suitable for smooth or rough timbe

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²

Advice:

It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

This is a protective water-repellent coating.
