If you own a Flow Hive or plan on keeping bees in a Flow Hive you need bees on Langstroth frames. These are the nucs you want for a Flow Hive.

Our langstroth nucs for sale will be ready for collection or delivery from late May and throughout the summer.

Your Langstroth nucleus will arrive in a re-usable correx box or new poly nucleus box with a ventilated screen depending on which option you choose.

You will receive the following:

•  5 or 6 Frame Langstroth Nucleus Colony of bees (depending on your selection above) - which include brood of all stages, stores and new season Buckfast queen on Langstroth frames (Imported queen EU origin)
• Fully Health checked
• Supplied in either a brand new Quatri Poly Nuc or new corex traveling box
• Aftercare over the phone if required
• Library of helpful videos on our YouTube channel
• 6 x Self Spacing Langstroth frames with bees (3/4 frames of BIAS)

This Langstroth Nucleus of bees will fit perfectly into a UK Flow Hive or our ANEL plastic beehives.

OUR BUCKFAST BEES:

Our Langstroth Nucleus Colonies are headed by a Buckfast Mated Queen. Our Langstroth nucs for sale are incredibly gentle and productive queens with great temperament and honey production. 

The nucs we sell are exactly the same line of bee we use in our honey farm. 

They're excellently adapted for UK and Welsh climates! Low in swarming (*low..not won't swarm!), easy to handle, gentle on the frames and excellent honey producers. All our bees will be fully inspected and health checked by us before they leave the farm. 

We have achieved our accreditation to the DASH scheme; Disease Accreditation Scheme for Honeybees, this is a an accreditation set up between the NBU (National Bee Unit, APHA (Animal and Plant Advisory Unit)) and the BFA (Bee Farmers Association).

The Nuc:

Provided on Langstroth frames with brood at all stages and supplied in a brand new box (Either correx or Brand New Quatri Poly nuc) depending on selectd choice.

Collection Details

Collection is always the preferred and better option for you nuc and is far less stressful on them However we can organise delivery for you if you prefer. Ready for collection from mid-late May onwards. Collection from Gwenyn Gruffydd SA32 8SE.

Delivery Details

Delivery Cost to UK Mainland Address is - £30** per Nuc (Delivery before 1pm*)

Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email of your order and deposit.

Our first point of contact will be via email so please be sure to enter a valid email address. We will contact you to make arrangements when we know your bees are ready.  We can only offer postage dispatches on Monday to Wednesdays

*Certain postcodes are excluded from the 1pm guarantees. Prices quoted are for UK only - we do not post overseas or to Ireland.

** Please note - This price is subject to change and Scottish highlands addresses will incur a surcharge. We will contact you to inform you of any surcharges applicable.

Note about the Quatri poly nuc.

You'r nuc will come with a vented lid for transport. You'll need to buy an additional crown board and solid roof later on. These can be purchased form us separately.
