Use these in the autumn when mice or other rodents may be looking for a warm winter retreat. The damage caused by mice etc can be substantial if left to their own devices. They will eat honey, pollen and even the bees, destroy comb and generally disturb the brood nest. Mouseguards can be removed in the spring.

A simple galvanised metal strip measuring 470x38x0.5mm with two rows of 10mm holes, so will fit all hives apart from the WBC. Held in position across the entrance of a standard floor by drawing pins. WBC mouseguards are also available.
