Premium 350kg Honey Settling Tank by Thomas Apiculture
Maturation (decantation) takes place after the extraction of the honey: certain particles of reduced size, wax, pollen grains or others, rise only very slowly to the surface. To do this, honey must be stored in perfectly clean and unalterable containers: ripeners.
This tank is manufactured in the Thomas workshops in France. The Mélinox settling tanks / honey ripeners are designed to last a beekeeper's life. They are sold with lid and handling handles. The tanks are equipped with flat inclined bottoms for perfect evacuation of honey, Thomas signature.
The stainless steel has a thickness of 0.8 to 1.2 mm for the tanks and sieves.
The settling tank does not come with a sieve. These can be ordered separately.

The 350 kg Mélinox ripeners are equipped with a “Perfection” gate dosing tap. The taps are supplied without gaskets or nuts.
