British Borage Honeycomb, 170g
British Borage Honeycomb
A stunning, delicate and succulent British Borage honeycomb
This beautiful honey is harvested during late summer after the bees have foraged on fields of Borage, also known as starflower. The gorgeous blue flower is nectar rich and the bees love it. This honey has a very pleasant, mild taste with hints of flora. The Borage honey is very pale in colour, one of the lights honeys available.
This honey is a massive crowd pleaser and is firm favourite when sampled at various Food Festivals and events that we attend due to it's very delicate flavour.
Suggestions: Delicious on cheeseboards or charcuterie boards with crackers and cheese. Why not try it with yoghurt and bananas for breakfast? Also beautiful with salads and desserts.
Weight: Minimum 170g
Comes beautifully packed in a Gwenyn Gruffydd bilingual sleeve. Makes a lovely gift.
I first tasted borage honeycomb at the Christmas fair in Pembroke castle 2024 and was totally hooked. The vendor explained that it went very well with cheese and crackers and they weren’t wrong. Having bought only one (and wishing after I’d bought more) my only option was to rather visit the farm or order online, which I did. Will definitely visit the farm one day. Thankyou it’s gorgeous.
I wasn't sure how to use the honeycomb, but once I tasted it I eat it all myself as it was delicious!!
Great service as usual from Gwenyn Gruffydd, very pleased.
This is probably my favourite honey. Ever. It's incredibly light & floral - not overpowering and slightly more viscous than others. also nice to find British honey which isn't Heather (which I also like, but has such a distinct bite).
I have been having the honeycomb as a little sweet treat, and wow is it good! It's chewy and gooey and not too sweet. It's my first time eating honeycomb and I think with this wonderful borage(y) treat I have found a little slice of the devine.
Out of this world for taste, one of the nicest honey I have ever tasted
