Fondabee is a feed in paste form that is composed mainly of sucrose. Fonda bee is easily carried off by the bees and swallowed directly. Ideal for feeding bees during the winter months. Comes in a 2.5kg packs, just cut the candy into the size block you require and place on top of the crown-board. The bees will feed from it during the winter as they require.

I've been beekeeping 30 odd years now and these guys are really good, fast and efficient hassle free delivery and ordering, and this fondant seems good on the hives as an extra winter food source after liquid feeding in the Autumn. I have used a couple of other fondants (one homemade, one from a local bakery) and this one seems best for the bees overwinter, its helped when they've been through a warm period and consumed a lot of stores without wild forage without the extra humidity of liquid feeds. Recommended.
