DN4 Self Spacing (Hoffman) Frames (Deep National) for use in National and WBC Brood Boxes.
Made from softwood, manufactured in the UK by Thorne, 2nds range. May contain knots or slight discolouration.
Sold unassembled. Frame Nails not included.

D.N.4 frames are used in standard depth National or WBC brood bodies. D.N.4 frames have hoffman spacing side bars.
- Top bar - 17" x 7/8" (431mm x 22mm)
- Side bar - 8½" x 1 3/8" tapering to 7/8" at bottom (216mm x 35mm)
- Bottom bar - 14" (356mm)
Although these were second quality, they were very well made and fitted perfectly. I will be back to buy some more later in the year. Thank you.
Apart from the odd knot, which so far hasn’t affected the putting together of the frames, these are fine. I’d definitely buy them again
Great quality for seconds all went together no problem. Shame about APC who cant be bothered to deliver parcel to our house, left on the bin at end of lane open the the elements or anybody to steal. Least Evir can get it in the bin.
i have has prime quality before and these were just as good
i found it harder to nail the bars as the wood must be more robust - out came the drill and nailing was easier
will willing buy this grade again
Good frames, easy to slot together and parts work with other frames. Out of 50 i had only one with a knot in an awkward place that broke a top bar which Gruff replaced without question. Great!
