I bought one a few weeks ago and have since transferred a colony from a traditional wooden langstroth hive. The bees settled in without a problem and are doing well.
I have now bought two further ANEL hives which are really excellent value for money.
And the delivery arrangements were also excellent.

As someone new to beekeeping I have no preconceived ideas as to the correct type of hive but with the intention of having only two colonies in the garden I was looking for one that had insulation and longevity and would be easy to clean and sterilise when necessary. Now that it is sitting on it's stand in the garden I can see that so far I have made the right choice. It's well made and fits together easily and of course has looking catches for added security. It should outlast any wooden hive with ease and at the end of it's time can be recycled. I look forward to getting some bees in it and would hope to do a further review in the future.
I have to say what brilliant service I have received from Gwenyn Gruffydd Ltd overnight and next day delivery is not something I'm use to on the Isle of Wight so thank you. I wish you well with your association with Anel which by the look of the video showing the unloading of the dozens of boxes into your yard is going very well
